Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (Allianz Life) is providing certainty to its customers to weather uncertain times with the launch of the new Allianz UltimateLink Investment Linked Plan (ILP) and HealthInsured Medical Rider Plan.

Allianz UltimateLink is a regular premium ILP that offers a wide range of mix-and-match optional benefits in one plan with full life coverage. Plus, it comes with a conditional in-force guarantee, which means the policy won’t lapse* due to an insufficient number of units to pay all policy expenses for the first six years.

Meanwhile, HealthInsured is a guaranteed and renewable unit deducting Hospitalization and Surgery (H&S) endorsement plan which provides high aggregate annual limit up to RM5 million for comprehensive medical coverage including cancer, emergency accidents as well as COVID-19. Additionally, early birds whose policies are submitted during the Introductory Campaign Period** – March 16, 2022 through April 30, 2022 – will receive a guaranteed rate* for the cost of insurance (COI) during first five years.

Allianz Life Chief Executive Charles Ong said that in addition to the life insurance protection gap, the pandemic has also led to several uncertainties in financial stability, job security and employment. accessibility to health care, among others.

“One thing is certain: as an insurer, customers have always been our priority and Allianz Life will always strive to be there for our customers, even in difficult times. We also want to help and respond to the extent of our means to the insured.

“Now that we are preparing to live with COVID-19 in an endemic phase, we must make changes to our future plans and be as adaptive as possible in unpredictable situations. As everyone has different needs, we have developed Allianz UltimateLink which allows customers to customize their protection coverage according to their needs and means. As for HealthInsured, it was created with different deductible options that can complement the existing medical coverage one already has,” Ong said.

Meanwhile, HealthInsured consists of four plans that offer different levels of benefits, namely Plan 150, Plan 200, Plan 300 and Plan 500.

Plans 200 and above come with COVID-19 coverage and varying levels of deductible options. They also come with a retirement option that allows policy owners to convert their deductible plan to a no-deductible plan when the insured reaches age 60. Or, policy owners can choose to continue with their current deductible level to make their medical plan more affordable. As for Plan 150, it is specially designed with essential guarantees that provide protection in the event of hospitalization. However, it is also designed to be more affordable for some customers.
